Loads of Celtic fans have been giving their verdict on Sunday’s momentous win, and unsurprisingly they have a lot to say about James Forrest.

Celtic fans weren’t too happy with Forrest last week, as the 27-year-old put in a poor display against Red Bull Salzburg, culminating in a red card for giving away a penalty.

The electric Scotland international responded in the best way he possibly could on Sunday though, firing in a ridiculous four goals in the first half against St Johnstone.

The Bhoys got off to an electric start, forcing multiple good saves out of Zander Clark before Forrest tapped home a rebound to make it 1-0.

To say he was hungry for more would be an understatement, firing in three more goals before half-time after Odsonne Edouard had made it 2-0 with a lovely turn and finish.

Rangers’ win over Hearts means Brendan Rodgers’ side are now just three points off the leaders despite a pretty underwhelming start to the season, and fans are heaping praise on Forrest’s comeback.
