Pogba is all set to return to action in 2025 when his 18-month ban is lifted in March. The Frenchman is currently a free agent after Juventus terminated his contract. Amid speculation over the midfielder's next destination, the reports that reigning English champions Manchester City are reportedly plotting a shock transfer move.

The Cityzens, who have endured a nightmare campaign in the 2024/25 season, are looking to bolster their squad. Ballon d'Or winning midfielder Rodri is currently sidelined after rupturing his ACL earlier this season which means City may look for midfielders who can replace talismanic Spaniard. City have denied reports they are interested in Pogba.
