It has been a while since we last saw Wayne Rooney don the famous red Manchester United jersey.
To be more precise, it was in 2017 that the legendary Englishman decided to call it a day and leave Old Trafford for a new challenge towards the twilight of his career.

That goal was part of a second half brace that granted United a 3-2 victory at the San Siro in the first leg of the last-16 tie in 2010’s instalment of Europe’s most prestigious club competition.
What a pair of headed goals and what a night it was for the now 33-year-old.
Soon, there were others commenting on his snap and Bill Hamid, DC United’s goalkeeper and Rooney’s teammate, replied with what everyone thought anyway – “legendary”.
