The 23-year-old has been snapped up on a three-year contract through to 2027. He spent time on loan at Mansfield last season, helping them to promotion into League One alongside Wrexham. The Stags had been eager to do a permanent deal, but the versatile defender has opted to head for North Wales instead.

WHAT NEXT?
Brunt began his career in the academy system at Aston Villa, signing his first contarct in 2018. He moved to Leicester in 2021 and made his senior bow there in an FA Cup clash with Watford. A Premier League debut was made against Tottenham in May 2022, before figuring in league and cup action again in the 2022-23 campaign. The classy centre-half took in 34 appearances for Mansfield last season.
