McKennie's self-deprecating description is more than a little tounge in cheek. In fact, only two outfield players have played more minutes for the Old Lady in Serie A this season, with Massimiliano Allegri's side now challenging for the title after three seasons outside the top three.
McKennie's return to Turin after a failed loan stint at Leeds has proved so successful that the Juventus board are preparing an offer to extend his current contract beyond 2025.
WHAT NEXT FOR JUVENTUS AND MCKENNIE?
Juventus are in Coppa Italia quarter-final action against Frosinone tomorrow night. Though McKennie's strong form may seem him rested by coach Massimiliano Allegri for the upcoming Serie A title push.
