Ed Woodward and José Mourinho should do everything they can to keep Marcus Rashford happy at Old Trafford in order to not have him consider a move away from the club.
According to a report in the Sun are Spanish giants Real Madrid monitoring Rashford’s performances of late and have they targeted him as the long-term replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
A terrible start to their season, that saw Julen Lopetegui getting axed from his role as Madrid manager, has left the defending Champions League champions in sixth place in the La Liga. But new boss Santiago Solari has gotten the team back to winning ways after replacing Lopetegui in October and is now ready to build for the future by making some worthy additions to his squad.
Madrid are reportedly considering a £50m-offer for Rashford, who has been in and out of the Manchester United first-team this season.
Mourinho has been chopping and changing his team in order to find the best partnerships that could steer the Red Devils to a strong league finish after also suffering a torrid start that saw fans calling for him to be sacked.
But with Anthony Martial getting back on the goals and hitting form again, Mourinho should try and get the same out of Rashford, who has proven to be a game-changer on more than a few occasions in the past.

With Martial operating on the left-flank, Rashford could add more pressure from the right-hand side. But that needs to happen on a more regular basis, instead of opting for either Juan Mata or Jesse Lingard.
By forcing that combination on the wings, United would be able to run at the opposition fullbacks with severe pace and create a lot of chances.
If the 21-year-old Rashford continues to be in and out of the team then he would definitely fancy himself of excelling at a big club like Madrid, who would arguably promise him a spot in the starting lineup. Indeed, Mourinho has made these kind of mistakes before…
