With no invitation to the royal wedding forthcoming, Razor and Gary are forced to spend the week in podcast land once again, where they are joined this week by singer-songwriter, ex-milkman, qualified referee and Boro fan Alistair Griffin, who you’ll know best for his appearances on Fame Academy in 2003 and his song Just Drive, which was used on the BBC’s F1 coverage. He’s releasing Just Drive on June 20th, followed by a new album, Albion Sky, in August.
The lads discuss all the major football issues, such as third party ownership, the size of Bernie Slaven’s head and whether or not footballers are soft. And there’s a rare chance to hear Razor singing live as he provides the backing vocals to Alistair’s cult tribute to Mark Viduka, performed live in the studio.
