Sassuolo looked to be heading to a 1-0 win after Martin Erlic's early goal, despite having Ruan Tressoldi sent off after 62 minutes. But a 94th-minute equaliser from Gianluca Lapadula and a 99th-minute winner from Pavoletti secured a remarkable victory in Serie A on Monday night. And Pavoletti's goal was rather special.

The win means Cagliari are out of the relegation zone in Serie A and now sit 16th in the table. Sassuolo are two points and one place ahead after 15 matches. Neither are out of relegation trouble, though. The Puskas Award is given out to the best goal of the calendar year, with Pavoletti definitely now in with a shout of that accolade.
WHAT NEXT FOR BOTH TEAMS?
Cagliari travel to Napoli on Saturday and Sassuolo head to Udinese a day later in Serie A. As for Pavoletti's Puskas Award chances, Manchester United sensation Alejandro Garnacho is surely leading the way after his insane acrobatics against Everton last month.
